Lion
Keno and Tsavo live at Wildlife Safari, a wild animal park in southern Oregon. although the roly-poly African lion cubs move awkwardly now, they will soon develop the sleek, muscular bodies that help make the lion one of the top predators in the world. With their stately beauty and extraordinary strength, lions are a most popular attraction at zoos and circuses. In Africa and India, where lions live in the wild, they rule the open plains. This photo essay looks at this magnificent big cat, both in captivity and in the wild, examining its daily life and behavior, as well as the unique physical characteristics tht have earned the lion the title King of Beasts. |
